Hi,

Really like this example.

Regarding the resizing handle question (I know the comment was a while ago), I recently posted an example of adding a resize handle to this. http://www.as3offcuts.com/?p=163

Cheers,
Dave.

Did a little research - Turns out that any content published for SWF9 format no longer has *color* subpixel rendering in Flash, only monochrome. And since AIR 1.1 is SWF9 format or higher, color subpixel rendering is removed. I am not sure why this change was made. Just the facts. ;-)

Nice example. I'm curious if you know the answer to this: Why doesn't Adobe AIR's advanced anti-aliasing allow subpixel rendering as it's done in the Flash player? Text rendered with advanced anti-aliasing is smooth in AIR, but it's smoother (on an LCD) with subpixel rendering in Flash...

I haven't tried to do that.

It shouldn't be too hard to add that in, I wouldn't think. What exact problem are you having?

You may need to change the app descriptor to allow the window to be resizable. It may be set to false.

Cheers,
-Daniel

Having issues when I try to add a handle to drag the size of the window. Is it possible to do that in your example very easily?

Source is there if I right click on the header. But I cant get a zip of the source to play with it. Is the zip missing intentionally?

Ah, I think there is a problem with the Flash detection. It should require 9,0,63 for the badge, but I have a feeling that its not working properly.

Thanks!
